The ultimate book on bodybuilding by one of the most popular bodybuilders of
all time and the best selling author of three previous bodybuilding books;

Way
of the Peaceful Warrior
20th Anniversary Edition: A Book That Changes
Lives
By Dan Millman
This NEW edition of one of the awesome and inpirational books I have ever read. It's a story based on the true story of Dan Millman, a world class champion gymnastic, who had "it" all. Strong, young, a bit too confident, and yet still did not know what missing from his life, until he runs into an old gas station attendent named "Socrates", and has a life changing accident. He learns about life, not through just being an athlete, but by realizing how much we miss in life by simply not being in the "moment". I can't say enough about any of Dan's books, I've used his books over and over again not only in my competitive life, but spiritual and mental growth as well.

An Intimate Portrait of the Female Physiques Athlete
By Paul Goode
Paul Goode is a photographer and friend of mine who has taken fitness
competitors, models, athletes and portrays them in a nice format. The book
is shot in the grainy black and white style characteristic of Pauls' style,
and there is one photograph that is of particular interest which can be found
on Page 55.
WOMENS' BODYBUILDING
AND TRAINING
Hard
Bodies
By Gladys Portuguese, Joyce L. Verdal
This book was my one of the main inspirations behind my quest for muscles.
Gladys was a very prominent and one of the most beautiful bodybuilders
when the Ms. Olympia was still in it's infancy. Today her physique could be
considered like those more of today's fitness competitors then of some the
professional bodybuilders that are recognized today. Shows exercises with free
weights and machines, and outlines programs for a magical physique. I
think this book was my trusty guide to lifting for the first year of my earnest
lifting.
Woman's Book
of Strength
By Karen Andes
Strength is as much an emotional and psychological quality as it is physical.
This meld of mind and body is the foundation upon which this intelligent guide
to sensible bodybuilding and overall fitness for women is built. Karen spends
am time on such factors as nutrition, overcoming fear, and achieving a balance
between hard-core workouts and relaxation techniques. An excellent book by
a woman, for women.

were totally out of shape.

Glucose Revolution : The Authoritative Guide to the Glycemic Index- By Jennie Brand Miller, Thomas M.S Wolever M.D. Ph.D., Stephen Colagiuri
M. D., Jennie Brand-Miller, Kaye Foster-Powell
Carbohydrates with a high glycemic index, such as bread and potatoes,
are quickly digested and released into the bloodstream as glucose. They
provide an immediate energy boost, but aren't filling enough to sustain
you till your next meal. Carbs with a low glycemic index, such as rolled
oats and pasta, slowly release glucose into the bloodstream, are more
satisfying, and better help to control hunger.
Fetish
Fashion: Undressing the Corset
By Larry Utley, Autumn Carey-Adamme (introduction)
Larry is the photographer who has done many of the images you see on my site.
I had the opportunity to also be photographed for his latest book. Larry 's
work is a treat for the eyes and minds of all readers. Come explore the "hidden
world" of the corset and its magical ability to reveal and conceal. I
can't recommend this book enough. His work is amazing!
